Ozone Generator Water Cooled Ozone Equipment for Air and Water Treatment System
Ozone generator is a device that produces ozone (O₃) gas, a molecule composed of three oxygen atoms. Ozone is known for its strong oxidizing properties, making it effective for a variety of applications, including:
Air Purification: Ozone generators are often used to eliminate odors, bacteria, viruses, and other airborne contaminants in indoor environments.
Water Treatment: They can purify water by breaking down pollutants and killing harmful microorganisms.
Industrial Applications: Ozone is utilized in food processing, surface disinfection, and for bleaching purposes in various industries.
Mold and Mildew Removal: Ozone can help eliminate mold spores and mildew growth in damp areas.
working principle
When the gas containing oxygen passes through the discharge gap between the two electrodes, some oxygen molecules (O2) will be converted into ozone (O3) to realize ozone preparation. When there is a changing high voltage on the high-voltage electrode, a micro discharge will be generated at the discharge gap between the electrodes, and the oxygen molecules will be decomposed into free state oxygen atom o, and some free state oxygen atoms will recombine with the undissolved oxygen molecules to generate ozone(O3), that is, O + O2 = O3, which is called "corona discharge" or "silent discharge".
In fact, only a part of the electric energy applied to the electrode is used to prepare ozone, and heat will be generated during the preparation process. It is necessary to effectively cool the ozone generation module through cooling water. The ozone preparation process is significantly affected by the quality of feed gas and the temperature of cooling water. The lower the temperature, the higher the ozone preparation efficiency.
