The sludge screw conveyor is mainly used to treat and transport dewatered sludge, sludge from municipal sewage treatment process, residential sewage pretreatment plant or livestock waste application (such as fecal treatment system). Since there is no intermediate bearing, it provides an unblocked conveying surface, eliminates the accumulation of sludge and mud, and ensures barrier-free material treatment. Totally closed can prevent any material leakage. The tank cover with proper gasket can realize odor-free operation and form a barrier to prevent any atmospheric medium from entering the system.
Working Principel
When the sludge is discharged to the feed port on the U-shaped tank, that is, the sludge is discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the U-shaped tank through the screw drive. The sludge is like a fixed nut during operation, and the shaftless screw is like a rotating bolt. The continuous rotation of the bolt can drive one end of the nut to the other end. The shaftless screw conveyor of the horizontal device can use two filter presses and a centrifuge to collect the treated sludge at the same time and transport it to the next process.
Features
1. It is not easy to accumulate and block: there are many impurities in the sludge, and the fluidity is poor. The sludge screw conveyor is designed without a central shaft and uses flexible integral steel screw to propel sludge. It has strong resistance to winding and will not cause material blockage.
2. Large transportation capacity: sludge is mainly used in industries with certain requirements for transportation capacity, such as large sewage treatment plants. The conveying length of a single conveyor can reach 60 meters, and the conveying capacity is 1.5 times of that of ordinary screw conveyor.
3. No leakage and odor: the sludge has high water content and serious pollution, which is easy to produce leachate and odor overflow. The slot cover of the sludge screw conveyor with proper gasket can realize odorless operation and form a barrier to prevent any atmospheric medium from entering the system, which can ensure environmental sanitation and the delivered materials are free from pollution and odor leakage, and ensure the sanitation of the transportation environment.
4. Flexible layout: different layout modes can be adopted according to the conveying site. It can be transported horizontally or at a small inclination, and the inclination is not more than 25 °.
5. Long service life: because there is no intermediate shaft, all the forces are on the blade, so the blade is required to have sufficient strength and rigidity, the blade thickness is not less than 20mm, and the spiral blade height is not less than 80mm, which can greatly extend the service life.
6. Low maintenance cost: when conveying materials, the blades are completed by the friction shell, so the shell needs strong friction resistance. The addition of lining plate can prevent the spiral body from contacting the shell directly and reduce the maintenance cost.
